If you’re in need of barn siding for your old barn or new construction, rough sawn poplar siding can be a great option.

• Every order is custom, so we can have the lengths and widths milled for your specific need.

• The boards are rough cut on a circular sawmill, so they have a circular saw pattern that gives it an old, rustic look.

• Since each order is custom, you will receive the wood straight from the sawmill. That means that the wood will be fresh cut and have a high moisture content. If installing battens then the siding can be installed shortly after being cut because the battens will cover up gaps once the wood dries out. But if battens aren’t installed it is best to air dry the boards for a few months.

• Minimum Order is 500 square feet.

• It usually takes 1 month to have a custom order sawn from the time of deposit.

• You can stain your siding or let it gray naturally for the old barn look.
